Jason had originally planned to compete in the 100K distance (62 miles), but the desire to reach the coveted 100 mile distance began to itch at him. With my consultation, and Jason's trust in his ability, he decided to take the leap from 62 miles to 100. Reconfiguring his training to plan to fit the distance, Jason was able to complete his first 100 mile race (and technically a 100K too)!

He had so much fun, Dan ran the 5K the next day and earned 1st in his age group for the first time!

Katelyn is an OG cross-country runner, beginning in sixth grade, when the program originated at Selbyville Middle School in Selbyville, Delaware. Since her first season, she continued to drop her 2 mile times. We set goals from race to race and from practice to practice. Katelyn took ownership of her efforts and in her personal goals to become a top tier cross country runner in her eighth grade year. These goals earned Katelyn a new school record in the 800 meter during her eighth grade track season. She pushed all season and accomplished her new record goal in her final eighth grade race, completing her run in 2:38 and finishing third overall. Katelyn is a testament to the Blistertoe fam.
